Sample AI agent · Analyst relations

Prepare for an analyst briefing, then rehearse it

Analysts reward evidence and punish overclaiming. Set up a briefing, watch the agent build the pack, then practise answering the analyst's hardest questions.

You're playing Halden, a made-up AI assistant for banks and insurers.

Lena, her firm and Halden are made up. The pack is a replay of a real run: Claude produced it and it passed every check.

Why it matters

Analyst relations has shaped some of the biggest wins in my career. For example, at a cybersecurity company, Forrester made intent-based behaviour analysis a requirement in its Bot Management Wave and named the product a Leader. Most of that came down to preparation: knowing what the analyst cared about, bringing evidence, and never claiming more than we could prove.

How it works

The agent reads the analyst's research, her evaluation criteria and last year's briefing notes next to your fact sheet, and builds the pack in five steps: profile, criteria map, hard questions, claims check and meeting plan. Each step is checked before the next starts.

The checks catch made-up quotes, missing criteria, proof points that don't exist, internal-only data such as win rates, and agendas that overrun. Judging tone stays with the person who approves the pack.
